Now this is where our MPH average over the whole course went for a burton. Lunch was just tooooo good!
Thanks to Ian who, somehow, had appropriated his mother's picnic, and was dishing out gourmet cheeses, ham and garlic sausage with relish (by that I mean his style, not a dob of chutney!).
Mind you not everything was to everyone's taste - you have to have a certain palate to enjoy an extremely ripe Camembert. Thank goodness he had appropriated the wine as well.
Amazingly, after such a gargantuan feast, although Dave, Jane and I were slow at wanting to resume our travels, there was no holding back Tony and Lee . They were into the saddle again before you could say Jack..... oh, well, maybe not... |
