| (Howie�s View) �We have to run from these people,� Christie said, �They will do anything & everything to get what they want.� �How did they find me,� I asked suspiciously �I wouldn�t tell them so they injected something into my body that made me tell the truth. I ended up telling them where I left Kara. They went to the MGM Grand & demanded files for the date that I got away. They saw your name & tracked down where you live. Your mother told them where you were so some stayed & some left. They can do all the steps in about 30 minuets.� �Why did you just tell me all of that?� �So you will know what you�re up against.� Just then Kara stirred in her sleep. I looked over at her. Then I heard gunshots from downstairs & yelling. Kara shot awake & Christie ran & locked the door. �Quickly down the fire escape,� she said. We grabbed everything that belonged to us & went out the window. We started climbing down the fire escape. I pointed out my car to Christie. She took my keys & all of my possessions & put them in the car. I grabbed Kara & put her into the car. I hopped into the driver seat & Christie sat in the passenger seat. We drove off as quickly as we could without being discovered. |
