Internship Program

The goal of Comcast's Internship Program is to enhance the learning experience of the intern and to make a meaningful contribution to the organization, as well as to set goals to continue professional growth and development for the intern.
Comcast Community TV in Peabody and Lynnfield is a local programming station which combines Origination Programming and Public Access Programming. Our primary function is to cover city and town meetings as well as local festivals, concerts, civic events and high school sports. We also serve both towns with local bulletin boards displaying the show schedules, ads, and public service announcements.
The learning objective goals are, but not limited to:
- How a Local Programming Studio works.
- How to use the Editing Equipment
- How to set-up and use Cameras, Audio, Graphics in studio and on remote locations.
- How to Program for Cablecasting and updating the Bulletin Boards.
- How to set-up and videotape meeting coverage.
- And Do Your Own Project.
Supervision, instruction, assistance and consultations are provided by your Intern Supervisor.
