The Commission
on Missions will address eight areas of concern for the different mission
stations: Evangelization, Formation, Youth Empowerment, Continuing Research,
Literacy, Livelihood, Health and Safety, and Funding and Support. These areas
are the priorities of the commission in order to equip the residents of the
mission stations with necessary tools for them to be self-sufficient. The
following are the proposed projects for each priority area:

FUNDING AND SUPPORT
1. Organize roving exhibits to visit various schools and parishes.
2. Publish leaflets, souvenir programs, flyers, newsletter to disseminate upcoming activities and projects of the mission apostolate.
3. Conceptualize a video presentation that will emphasize the needs of the different mission stations to be viewed by the students/public in exhibit areas.
4. Set-up booths that will feature the adopt-a-student / teacher / classroom projects of the mission apostolate in the exhibit areas.
1. Issue notice to all educational institutions, convents, shrines and parishes three (3) months before the celebration of the Philippine Dominican Mission Month.
2. Mobilization of Lay Organizations such as CWL, Knights of Columbus, PREX and others.
1. Request religious stores in the parishes, retreat houses and canteens operated by educational institutions to share a minimal portion of their monthly income to the missions.2. Utilize the religious stores in the parishes, retreat houses and canteens as an outlet on the sale, under consignment basis, of religious items to be sourced directly from manufacturers at a minimum cost.
3. Undertake printing of religious calendars of the mission to be sold through the religious stores of parishes, retreat houses and canteens.
4. Tap funding agencies, foundations, both local and foreign, to solicit donations, in cash or in kind.
5. Solicit donations from corporate and individual benefactors.
6. Tap government agencies / offices for donations.
7. Sponsor movie premieres / shows / concerts for the benefit of the Philippine Dominican Missions Foundation, Inc.
8. Tap events promoters to donate part of the proceeds of premieres / concerts / shows to the Philippine Dominican Missions Foundation, Inc.
9. Implement Adopt-a-Student Program to raise funds that will sustain the educational needs of the youth in the different mission stations.
10. Solicit from Educational Institutions to adopt-a-student / classroom / hall / library / clinic project.
11. Encourage involvement of the Philippine Dominican Province Parish Priest Council (PDPPPC) to the missions.
