The Protocol - general descriptionHere we'll describe our Sustainable Rural Tourism Quality Protocol It contains a Main Basic Protocol who applies to all the businesses who offer variety of services, mainly lodging and activities in rural areas. It contains also some Annexes who apply to specific activities and services who can take part - or not- of the main business. Finally, all who offer a rural tourism complementary service can certify this service.
As an example, we can mention a rural tourism business who offer lodging, restoration and some activities. It will apply the Main Basic Protocol, and maybe some specific Annex, because the business "essence" is based in this specific activity. Let's take this example and let's apply to the restaurant who works independent from the lodging. For this example case, enterprise will certify with the Main Protocol and with the specific Restaurant Annex, so, it will get more value to this restaurant because it will be specially certified. Let's get another example whose highlights are its guided tours, or specialises in horseback-riding. They will have the opportunity to get its primary activity certified, and will be valued by its consumers. For the Specialised Travel Agents and intermediary, certifying will be a good option, because we designed a specific Annex who will show them as a specialised and sustainable Agent, in many aspects, will collaborate with the distribution chain in a coherent manner, and reach the specific target client without troubles.
