12:27 p.m.:  The sky is blue.  It's been a while since I've seen a sky that blue.  I don't like blue skies.  Cold and rain, I can take it, not problem.  I rarely need to carry a jacket; of course, this is the Bay Area where cold is never really cold.  But the beauty of a blue sky is far outweighed by the extra pain inflicted by a beating sun when I go out for track.

12:00 p.m.:  I went to a college conference over the weekend with my church.  It was really good.  The topic was the first two chapters of Genesis.  They shared how Genesis 1 and 2 are far too brief to be about creationóthere are far too many details left out.  In fact, there is much more we can get from those two chapters that merely how the earth was created (actually, its the recreation, after everything was destroyed in the gap between 1:1 and 1:2).  One of the most striking things is that when God created man he didn't give him a "to do" list or a series of rules and regulations.  Instead, he set him in front of the tree of life and told him to eat.  That's a pattern for all of us.  Instead of trying to do something for God, we should just learn to take him in.

12:33 p.m.:  Yesterday we were supposed to have an easy day in track and instead the coach had us run from the track to the Berkeley campus and do 3 400m uphill sprints, then run back.  It wasn't fun.

I really need to update this page more often.  That's something that many cool people, such as Daphna Klugman, have told me.  Although events such as the one mentioned in the previous paragraph are the type that prevent this computer geek from updating it more often.  But I promise if the number of hits surged dramatically (say to 50 a day) then I will update this page at least once a day.  Bribes and donations would also keep me going.  Of course, receiving those requires that I find people willing to read this nonsense.

Check out my photos  page , I'm trying to add stuff, and it still has the photos of cool people (who don't know of this page) such as Rachel Lommen (who through the work of a prevously mentioned peson has been led to believe that this is a fan page for herÖ hmmÖ good idea!) and others.  Actually I think I'm going to begin doing bio sheets on people.  I've already done one on my biggest fan.

10:37 p.m.:  The student productions are amazing.  It's always interesting to watch poeple act.  In a sense, we're all actors.  Every time you crush an impulse, or hide the fact that you are unhappy or something like that you're acting.  So professional acting is just taking that ability, and running with it ó creating false emotions and hiding true ones for money instead of social reasons.  It's actually scary though.  How do you differentiate from when people are acting and when it's a "true" emotions?  I guess actors have one up on all of us.

This is my favorite weekend of the year.  Right after finals so there's no homework, and at the same time report cards haven't come in yet so i can pretend that I'm getting an 'A' in all of my classes.
