About Me

 

To describe myself briefly, I would say I am as much passionate about machines as I am a nature admirer.

I am deeply fascinated by extreme machines like aircrafts, especially fighter jets. One of my dreams is to learn flying, which I hope to realize soon.

My hobbies include amateur sky watching and astronomy, writing essays and poems, and photography. I have been a numismatist since my childhood, and have added coins and currency of various nations (including small and far flung countries to my collection).

I love traveling and have been involved in a lot of adventure trips in the Himalayas and the Southern ranges. My latest interest is skiing and I have completed a 7 day non-certificate course this winter, with GMVNL (A Govt. of Uttaranchal, India Undertaking).

Languages appeal to me and I hope to learn as many languages as possible in my lifetime, both regional and foreign. For starters, I have started learning how to read and write Urdu, a heritage Indian language. Also I have successfully completed a one semester course in German, and have working knowledge of the same. Apart from these, I am fluent in Punjabi (my mother tongue), Hindi, and English.

In my leisure time I write essays and poems; mostly penning down my thoughts, views and opinions on a wide variety of topics.

Currently I am working as a Field Engineer at J.Ray McDermott, Dubai. My aim in life is to become a successful Entrepreneur, for which I plan to gather as much experience as I can.
