People who want to look the part, must start shopping in Thrift stores. You will find old clothes that fit into one of two categories, Victorian or Cyber Punk. If you don't understand what I mean, check out some movies that on the styles; Interview with a Vampire, Dracula, The Matrix Trilolgy (during the club scenes, mostly), and Underworld. Other examples would be in larger cities near record stores that sell hard rock and alternative music, when you do, you may have seen weird creapy people dressed in black, some looking elegant and some looking down right scary. Just look at the expression the are trying to put forth. Fashion is one of the things that Goths try to strive for, looking great or looking scary. Women that dress up for a clubbing night can and have worn dresses that stylise prom or wedding dresses in dark colors, renaissance period dresses are also seen, but mostly in velvet or a close vynal/pvc material. There are many things that can be worn, but now a days with the hot weather, fishnet and shear items are a must, especially if you dance at clubs.
