Here is a different kind of hack the "Compubrick

mind stimulating web pages check out their site at www.applefritter.com
lots of hacks!
How to make an external SCSI bay.
First you'll need a coputercase with a power supply. I would not
just get any old case. You will find out that it is worth going
out and getting a new case. The older ones are too heavy and difficult
to get inside. A new case like a new tower works great. They are
light and easy to get in and out of. Make sure your case has a power
supply!!. Next you will need an internal SCSI cable to external
SCSI port adapter. These will run you from $9 to $25 bucks (I got
mine at Falcon Tech. in St. Louis Mo. They actually carry them there!
I will post contact info soon.) You will also need a HDI SCSI adapter
for the power book, and a 25 pin to 25 pin SCSI cable, to connect
from the SCSI adapter on the MAC to the external SCSI cable port
on your case, and an internal 7 port SCSI cable to go into your
tower.
Open the case and install the internal to external adapter. Plug the internal
SCSI cable to the internal to external adapter a 50 pin interface.
Plug the power cables into your SCSI devices. Plug them into the
internal SCSI cable also. Close case, and plug the external 25 pin
to 25 pin SCSI cable to the back of the external port on you tower,
and the other end to your HDI-SCSI Adapter. Set up your proper SCSI
ID settings and termination and power up the tower. Now power up
the Power Book, insert a CD ROM and check it out! One may want to
consider going from the HDI-SCSI Adapter to their ZIP drive to the
SCSI bay.
How to make an animated hanging picture.
I have not done this but want to and will try it soon if anyone can help me
with this let me know!!!
Basically disconnecting the display and hanging it on the wall
and showing Pics or a screen saver or whatever. One would want to
hide the PB unit it self too.
If any one knows of any examples of this let me know. I have heard of this
being done but have not confirmed this.
