January 1st, 2005 - Payola has been cut down to a two piece band for one show. I have been looking for a drummer but things don't look to great. Mike and I have been practicing the drums so that we can play the upcoming show this month, check out more info on them on the shows page. The idea of the two piece for a punk rock and/or roll band may sound like the best idea ever and I'd have to agree with you on that one. So check out the shows we got this month or don't either way our mailing service will be up soon for our merch (with exclusive cds, patches, stickers, video games*, bubble gum*, shoes*, and special edition cars*) so check back soon.

Even newer site! Our mp3s are getting downloaded and hear but a lot of people know a days. That show in Ramona was horrible, the fucking moonshine drinking hicks up there couldn't handle the greatness that is Payola and started shit. The pussies smashed in Mike's front window on his car and broke the car's right mirror while we were playing our set. We started putting our shit back in his car and a crowd drunk hicks of at least 20 wanted to start even more shit, know if it they would have picked there best 3 verus us we would have bet the shit out of Ramona, yet the fucks were just as pussies as the fuck who smaeh Mike's car and bailed. Fuck Ramona those fucks will have what's coming to them. P.S. Big thanks to Russ of the broken up Peculiars, the only cool person in Ramona.

October 24th, 2004 - Hey hey people, thanks for checking out the new site of us Payola. Now I know of you might be thinking "What the fuck was wrong with the name Jack-Knife Jokers??? Well nothing, but it wasn't the band. We like the name Payola better. Anyway we have a shit load of songs now a days but no shows lined up any time soon.
