Alcatraz
This is quite a nice view of one of the most famous prisons in the world, Alcatraz, taken from the top of one of San Francisco's copious hills, on a cloudy and very windy day. It is clear to see how cloudy it was when I was there, and I am happy that at least I could see Alcatraz, because I had no such luck with the Golden Gate Bridge. You can also see the amount of ferries sailing back and forth to the Island, taking the tourists across. I would liked to have been one of those tourists, except the tours were booked up for a colossal TWO WEEKS in advance, and by that time I was in St Louis.
