I wonder of the meaning
of any one's life
is it good or bad
happy or sad
Life is not a game
but it is a gamble
funny how things turn out
and how the pieces fit
It is a part of the legacy
my thoughts and feelings
desires and fears
just a part of living
I may not be like you
in the ways of my life
any life is sacred to me
and must be kept that way
Strange the way time is
as it keeps on charging by
carrying us all in its stream
the ones too busy to notice
A simple world of advice
from this one poet
take time to smell the roses
before time sweeps you away
