Hopes and fears
dreams and realities
all rule my life
for good or evil
Oh I know of these
for my life is legion
different lives in one
the story is legacy
A simple man's dream
to write of things
that I have seen
of my hopes for tomorrow
Hopes bright and full
of a new world coming
a legacy of older days
of peace and quiet
I am a simple man
lost in the streams of time
leaving behind a legacy
which are these poems
Poems cannot change the world
only people can do that
but they can shed a light
to help show the way
