The Clubs
Phoenix and Pinnacle Karate Clubs are part of the British Traditional Karate Association (BTKA) which was founded in1978 and is renowned for being at the forefront of Karate in England. The style of karate is Washinkai (derived from Wado-Ryu) which was created by its Chief Instructor Sensei Chris Thompson 8th Dan.

The Phoenix and Pinnacle Karate Clubs are run by Sensei Roy Taylor 4th Dan who is a British Traditional Karate Association Senior Instructor. Both clubs have been established for several years and cater for Children and Adults, with abilities ranging from beginners through to black belts. Since their inception both clubs have maintained a high standard of training in both the technical and physical elements of karate.
