The Site in General
Midnight Moon was first set up after Order of the Phoenix came out in
2003, but it was called "My Harry
Potter Fan Site" (that shows my humongous imagination). It had an ugly blue
background and was made in FrontPage. It didn't have too many features - a
ProBoards forum, a quiz (the same I have now) and a guestbook. Now I've added
lot of things: partners (even though I lost some of them when I accidentally
deleted the main page), games, and tons of other stuff.
Why Midnight Moon?
So, why did I choose that name?
Well, midnight is a magical time -witching hour, as some say- and Harry Potter
is all about magic.
The moon also has a magical air about it. Werewolves like Lupin turn into beasts
at full moon.
Mixed together, the words -at least to me- sound even more magical.
The Hosts
I'd like to thank Geocities for hosting this site free.
I had also gotten hosted at Magic Host, a HP-LotR hosting site, but it had a
problem recently so for now I'm staying here.
The Graphics
(layout and avatars)
I got my previous layout - the pink PoA one - at Twilight Shadows, which,
unluckily, has now shut down. This layout I got at Accio Firebolt (as you can
see below, in the credits).
The
HP Webmaster Community
This site is part of the Harry Potter Webmaster Community, created by Warner
Bros. for webmasters with HP sites. They provide HP pictures. That's where I got
the PoA pics and the house shields I had in the Houses section.
