WELCOME TO THE HOME PAGE OF
PAT AND STACEY MCDOUGALL. . .
AND CORBIE TOO!
If you're looking for a fancy, dynamic web site, you've obviously come to the wrong place!  In here you'll simply find some stuff about the
things that we enjoy.  So, have a look around if you're so-inclined,
and drop us an e-mail if we have a common interest or two!
CORBIE TOO?!
Corbie is our cat, who is about two years old as of May 2003. She's a "tortie" cat, which means she has coloration that's reminiscent of a tortoise's shell. Have a peek at our Corbie the Cat Page for more on this wild and crazy cat!
CELTIC MUSIC
We "dicovered" our taste for celtic music at the Antigonish Highland Games in Nova Scotia around eight years ago or so. The diversity of the music is incredible, and goes far beyond the Irish drinking songs that we refer to as "cheesy Irish music!" Hmm. . . does this make us music snobs?! Anyway, take a jig or a reel over to our Celtic Music Page!
2002 VACATION: NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA
Our sixth visit to Nova Scotia, one of Canada's beautiful maritime provinces, was during our vacation in August 2002.  We've fallen in love with Nova Scotia for a variety of reasons-- its gorgeous seacoasts, the diversity of outdoor activities it offers, the cultural diversity, the music and beauty of Cape Breton Island, the great seafood (especially chowder!), and the slower pace of life to name but a few. If you love the outdoors and can appreciate a change of pace from the hectic lifestyle typical of big city America, this is the place for you. For more info and photos from our August 2002 vacation, check out our Nova Scotia Page.
WHAT THE HECK IS GEOCACHING?!?!?
Over the winter of 2002-03 we picked up a new hobby called "geocaching." In short, geocaching involves carrying around a cell phone-sized "satellite-reading" device that leads you stashes called geocaches that have been hidden by other geocachers who practice their hobby through the use of a website. It's sort of a treasure hunt for outdoors-loving folks of all ages. Clear as mud?! Have a look-see at our Geocaching Page to learn more about this fun, healthy hobby.
