Camel Back Skiing...

Camel Back made us feel as if we were somewhere in the French Alps.... it was a perfect spot for skiing.. every year, ppl from all of North-Eastern cost especially from New York come there...

We could see entire the family (grandparents & kids included) take part in skiing... this idea somehow didn't seem normal to my Indian mind..... imagine a man in mid 70ies skiing with his grandson (age 4-5)....

One strange thing about skiing & skating you wont find african americans take part in these sports... even in college when I go for ice skating I don't find any of them... I'm not sure, but even the US ice hockey team doesn't have any of them...

We stopped by at this beautifully decorated hotel at the base of the mountain...

Inside the hotel, we were the odd man out.... all the others were wearing some kind of snow shoes or carrying their skiing equipment...

There were separate slopes for learners....

The white smoke in the bottom pic is actually snow... there was this part of the mountain where they were artificially creating snow to maintain the slope....

did a some shopping after Camel Back...
