Once in Jackson Heights, I felt as if I was in some part of India... All Desi stores... some even had their names written in Indian languages... (look carefully in the photo.. the sign board written in red just next to the signal is in Bengali)

I saw things that I was longing to see... Parel G biscuits... Maggie.... Indian spices.. Chapatis... :-))))).. infact we even had lunch at an Indian restaurant...

Just like a typical Indian street, the place had this typical nostalgic smell (or stink to be precise)...!!!!

Delaware Water Gap...

somewhere close to NJ-Penn border... the entire river was frozen... we even tried walking on the ice.. had a GREAT fall.. :-))

Beautiful scenery... you have to actually see it appreciate the beauty...

Appalachian Trail...

On the other side of I-80 was The Appalachian Trail... a perfect spot for mountaineering... though, mountaineering would be more fun in summer, we could still see a few enthusiast treking all the way up...

again... you have see the whole place to appreciate the beauty of mother nature....

This spot was a very special for tourist.... on one side of the Interstate-80 was the Delaware Water Gap & on the other.. the Appalachian Trail...
