Chief's Office
Not much here to look at, yet. I am still moving in.  Read about who I am here.  Keep checking back, never know what you'll come across!
Feel Free to pet the 'Cadaver Dog'. His name is Jake. My wife found him several years ago while working in Bosnia. He was a small puppy living in a snowbank. He loves to chase squirrels. He has also stared in a movie which was submitted to the Sundance film festival. Quite a success story for a little Serb refugee! Keep checking back to see what Jake is up to. You never know with this little guy...
I love to collect records.  I mainly collect stuff called 'outsider music', which is basically just crap to most people.  I have lots of Les Baxter, Martin Denny, Esquivel, and so on and so on.  My most prized records are Sun Ra LP's. (see more on Sun Ra (and outsider music) in the lounge).  These are special records. The band had little money and no real distributor in the 50's and 60's so many of their LP's were hand pressed and came packaged in homemade covers.  The orginal Sun Ra label was called 'Saturn Records' and these original Saturns are RARE, because only 100 or so records were pressed at a time. Click here to see a few of my prized Saturns.  Many more LP photos to come...
Still keeping with the Sun Ra theme, click here to see a photo of me with Marshall Allen.  Marshall was Sun Ra's 'right-hand man' and since Ra's death he has kept the Arkestra alive and kicking. At 78, he still tours the world with some of  Ra's orginal Arkestra playing Ra's and his own out of this world jazz! There are also some shots of the Arkestra in Dublin 2002.
This is my bookshelf. Check out what I am currently reading. Not much at the time. There is a cool book by a friend of mine named Irwin Chusid called "Songs in the Key of Z" which is a fantastic look into the lives of some of 'outsider music's' best and brightest. If you are even slightly interested in outsider music, buy this book and the two CD's that accompany it! You won't be disapointed!! There is more about Irwin in the lounge.

The Family Zone. Since e-mailing photos can be a pain and crash people's mailboxes, I will put stuff here every once and a while.  Currently there are some shots of St. Paddy's Day and our new pad!
