Naturalist Learner-
Similar to the logical/mathematical learner, for some unknown reason this type of learner is a categorizer who hates packrats. Connections between groups and patterns is a stong skill for the naturalist learner.  There's no BS'ing for this learner, as they get straight to the point without needless digression. A large part of the naturalists motivation to learn comes from wondering how life works and how nature functions to our benefit. Direct examination of how we and other things work is a naturalist learners' (cornacopia of enjoyment). The Discovery Channel is often viewed by this learner as he/she is constantly intrigued by life and it's functions.
I'm sorry to say it, but the end of my I am page is nearing, and I know your dying to ask a certain question. What kind of learner am I? My scores for each type of learning are :
Linguistic=28
Mathematics=26
Visual/Spatial=23
Body/kinesthetic=42
Naturalistic=35
Music=39
Interpersonal=40
Intrapersonal=30
Well, I am consitered to primarily a bodily/kinestetic learner along with some Interpersonal and Musical learning abilities. I see the results of the survey accurate for several reasons. I do enjoy sports and hands on activities(seeing someone do something doesn't cut it for me, I've got to do it myself). The Interpersonal learning type I have is also obvious to me as I do work best alone by taking notes and doing bookwork as long as it is understandable, which requires me to ask many questions. The musical learning ability I have was a big suprise to me. I know that whenever I need to remember all of the U.S states and their names I sing the 50 States Song inside my head, but thats about it. I am quite sure of what it is about group work that I don't like, and it is that I like to do things my way because I will be better at things done my way versus someone elses, and if something goes wrong I have only myself to blame. It may be a weakness, but it is the way I am, and as long as I can get work done through hands-on activities I'm a happy camper, however, our constant group work within our chemsitry class is hard for me but a much needed reality that teamwork is an essential life skill.
