| Musical/Rhythmic Learner- | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I've got rhythem, I've got music, I've got my girl who could ask for...you get the idea. This learner is most compatible with music, tunes, and rhythem as a source of intelligence and remembrance. Spotting one of these learners is actually quite easy due to their various verbal and musical habits such as humming, singing, whistling, and other annoying habits of that sort. Remember That Tune would be a great game show for this learner to appear on, for their skills of memory about rhythem, music, tunes, and instramental sounds are superior and blatant. In most test taking scenarios, there's always that one kid who taps his/her foot incoherently or constantly attempts to "drum" on the desk with his/her pencil. This is a sure sign of a musical/rhythmic learner. Don't hold it against them though, it may be annoying at times, but they'll smoke you in any educational song guessing game. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Bodily/Kinestetic Learner- | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "Stop touching me Gus!"said Bruno "Well I'm a bodily/kinestetic learner, I'll get to know you better and learn more about you!" The above scenario may be a tad bit exaggerated, however, this type of learner is educated best by hands on activities and movement. Using body language and social interaction helps this learner express his/her self better and encourages their learning to commence. Oddly enough, athletes are usually the majority of this group as they interact with other player and teams and do hands on activities on a daily basis. A mild creativity has blessed these learners as well, for they enjoy to invent and conduct physical gestures to get his/her points across. Having little patients and a difficulty of sitting still for extended periods of time haunt a bodily/kinestetic learner on a daily basis, luckily for them Physical Education was invented to cater to those as they stare at the clock praying for class to end. |

| Interpersonal Learner- | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| "Let's all form a cecratic circle and share our class data!" Mr. Molecule said. This was followed by the only interpersonal learner becomming ecstatic with joy and throwing his hands into the air which led to a pumping of the right fist as if he had just received a large paycheck. Conducting group activities, cooperating within masses of people, and listening to others best accomodate these learners during the course of their learning experiences. Discussing an issue or problem rather than laboring on it personally is a key aspect on how the interpersonal learner conquers every day situations, as their social skills and teamwork skills make those who are self-centered frown. You may find yourself occaisonally telling a learner of this nature to be quiet once in awhile because they are always talking, but hey, they mean well. |

| Intrapersonal Learner- | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Well, while some of us benefit and desire group interactions and discussions, the other guys seem to do their own thing. The intrapersonal learner not only dislikes group work, but would rather be the lone soldier when it comes to cooperating to achieve a common goal. Self-guidence, self-reliance, and achieving goals single handedly assist thier learning style as they despise group activities. Seeing things from a personal standpoint rather than a group standpoint is a common sign of a intrapersonal learner for they have an overwhelming hora of independence within them along with a strong sense of curiosity. Did you ever see Curious George with his friends? I think not, but we can always dream. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
