"Hey you, Bob Ross Jr, you can't learn from pictures you idiot, why dont you go draw a circle or something!"- (neighborhood bully)
If you see the neighborhood bully around any time soon, first off tell him to stop being such a meany, and second, he's wrong. Learning from pictures and visuals is actually a primary form of learning, beleive it or not. The visual/spatial learner is very unique from other learning styles, as art and graphics are a heavy influence.  Having a great memory, a big imagination, and an overwhelming sense of visualization help this type of learner achieve academic goals on a daily basis.  This learner uses colors, textures, strategies, maps, and other senses of art and mind to conquer acedemic feats.  Following directions to visual activities and data forms such as charts and diagrams are a skill for this learner. If you see a person with this type of learning quality, dont be alarmed if he/she is constantly doodling, painting, drawing, acting, or doing hand work for fun.

I Am
Patrick Greenleaf
Fans, bookmark this one, because you will be begging for more and you'll soon see why. Im a chemistry student at B.U.H.S under the prestigious guidence of Mr.Perrin(hold your applause).  I play football and Intramural basketball for athletics, and I enjoy fishing, hunting, watching sports on TV, and many lethargic activities such as sleeping and playing sport-oriented video games.  I work at the Four Columns Inn in Newfane, VT, as a dishwasher and prep-cook worker on the weekends and on vacations.
Within this Web page, I will present information on the eight types of learning and intelligences.  As each human being is different, we all, well most all of us, learn in a variety of ways.  From the way you study for a test to your sports skills and ways of singing; these and many other attributes to your personality will depict which type of learning benefits you the most.  Read the below information on learning types and intelligences, and then take the survey yourself to see what kind of learner you are. You may be suprises, because I know I was.
Linguistic Learner-
Some would call a linguistic learner a good communicater, which is in part true.  A person with linguistic learning abilities benefits primarily from the basic human senses: Sight, Smell, Touch, and Hearing. Being a linguistic learner is also very beneficial in the sense that they have a noticeable superior ability to memorize information in art, numerical, and text forms.  One may call a learner of this kind a "social butterfly" if they wanted to be mean, but the term is actually rather agreeable to this particular learning process.  Great social skills, being aware of your words and their effects on others, self expression, and enjoying educational games are signs of this type of learning that stick out like a sore thumb.
Logical/Mathematical
Learner-
You little logical/mathmatical learner you, always being so organizational and neat, your gonna be great spousel material! This type of learner is very likely to have supreme organization, such as sorted and folded clothing and having books and CD's in alphabetical order.  The logical/mathematical learner is an adventurist, as he/she prefers to figure things out for his/her self rather than groupwork or guidence.  They like to do this through experimenting and using deductive reason, which implies that this type of learner is a fairly patient person. If a logical/mathematical learner was a character on Seseme Street, he/she would more than likely be The Count, you know, that purple vampire that LOVES math!  Numerical activities, processes, and games are heavily favored by this type of learner, as they are quicker than others to notice patterns and equations within normal every day activity.  Problem solving ain't no thang for this learner, because remembering formulas and equations is easy as pie for 'em.(dont hate them for it, we're all gifted in one way or another.
