| Summer Drama Camp "CHARLOTTES WEB" - Grades K - 6 July 1st - July 28th, 2002, Monday - Thursday K - 3, 10:00am-12:00pm 4 - 6, 12:00pm-2:00pm During the final 2 weeks of camp, grades K - 6 combine and attend from 10:00am - 2:00pm for rehearsals for "Charlotte's Web." Performances of "Charlotte's Web" will take place on July 26 @ 10:00am & 7:00pm and July 28 @ 2:00pm ***There will be no camp on July 4, 2002 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "THE VELVETEEN RABBIT" - Grades 7-12 July 15th - August 11th, Monday - Thursday, 10:00am-4:00pm During the final 2 weeks of camp, students will rehearse for The Velveteen Rabbit. Performances of The Velveteen Rabbit will take place August 9th @ 10:00am & 7:00pm and August 11th @ 2:00pm ***All campers attending 10:00am - 2:00pm should bring a bag lunch The Summer drama camp is the perfect opportunity for every student to explore acting and the dramatic process, reguardless of their experience level. Beginning through advanced students will study improvisation, character development, audition techniques and stage voice and movement. | New York Trip - August 12th-18th, 2002 This is an educational trip availible to all students who have participated in The Patchwork Players summer camps or prior productions. Monday-Wednesday, participants will rehearse for a performance in Central Park. Thursday-Sunday, participants will visit New York City, where they will attend Broadway Shows, take backstage tours of working theaters and studios and visit NYC landmarks. All students under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. |
