| It's hard to believe that already, it has been five years since the conception of the Patchwork Players. Throughout these fantastic five we have seen lots of faces, old and new, we have been through a varity of changes, both with us and where we are; but most of all, WE HAVE GROWN. All of us here at Patchwork would like to send out a special thanks to the many parents who have volunteered their time to get us through and to where we are now. | TARA LYNN DIMIRSKY ~Artistic Director~ Tara Lynn Dimirsky has spent the last 4 years as founder and artistic director of the Patchwork Players. Since settling in Tidewater to work on her Master's in Acting and Directing at Regent University, she has worked with Virginia Musical Theatre in such performances as "Grease," and "Tintypes." Also, she has worked with Dominion Theatre, The Actor's Theatre, The Generic Theatre, and toured nationally with Children's Theatre International. Before moving to Tidewater, she worked professionally with Camander Cabaret in Ocean City, MD, Capital Summerstage in upstate NY, Theatre West Virginia in Beckley, WV, Theatre IV in Richmond, VA, and Pennsylvania Centre Stage in State College, PA. She also has performed and directed "School House Rock," in their national tour. When not performing or directing, she stays busy taking care of her 4-year-old son, Sammy! |
| GARRY MANASCO ~Assitant Director & Musical Coach~ Garry Manasco last appeared on the Patchwork Player's Stage as Daddy Warbucks in "ANNIE." With a Master's degree in Theatre Arts and New York training at the famed HB Studio, Garry has performed off-broadway at 42nd Street's Harold Clurman Theatre in "Partners." Locally, he has appeared on stage in "Forever Plaid," "1776," "Schoolhouse Rock," " Peter Pan," " Shenandoah," " It's A Wonderful Life," and many others. Most Recently, he played the role of Pseudolus in Virginia Musical Theatre's production of "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum," and also the role of Mr. Bumble in their production of "Oliver." Television credits include The Prosecutors, The New Detectives, CBS Schoolbreak Special "If I Die Before I Wake," and CBS mini-series "Vanishing Son." You've also seen Garry in commercials for Best Buy and Harbor Bank. Film credits include, among others, "Robocop II," "Redemption Ticket," and "Prison To Praise." |
