We enjoy any time we can spend while riding and driving our own horses. We feel fortunate to share our interests in equines, which has included travel near and across the country to enjoy trail riding, driving events, horse shows, rodeos, to many different types of horse-related events.
The types of equine activities that we have participated in are diverse: ranging from National breed events to local play days. We have even completed a 100 mile pack trip with scenic views of the Grand Teton range. With all the people we have had the pleasure to meet, we have found a sense of camaraderie becasue of the shared thrill of watching and directing such powerful yet gentle animals at work and play. We hope you enjoy some of the events and places we have traveled as found on this website.
If you are traveling near us, come on by and meet the herd. Since we have met some very nice folks on our own traveling stops, we have decided to offer overnight boarding for your equines. The ranch has pipe fencing with several paddocks for turnout, a large outdoor riding arena, a hot walker, and your choice of covered runs with automatic waterers or a box stall. We have a quiet and safe spot for your equine to rest from your own travels across the Texas Panhandle.
In addition to overnight boarding for travelers, we offer both riding and driving lessons. Our emphasis is on safety and fun while you learn good horsemanship. We have the comfortable gaits of the Missouri Fox trotters for your riding lessons. Calm and gentle with excellent ground manners, our lesson horses can build your confidence. A Morgan horse, who has been described as “an accomplished driving machine”, is ready to help you acquire driving skills.
Whether for an overnight stay, a lesson, or just to chat about horses, come on by the CbarP Ranch and meet the herd!
