Let's Go Driving!

Driving is a great actvity for everyone. Listening to the steady clip clop of horse shoes on the road is the perfect way to relax.

The gentle ground manners of the driving horses put people at ease. The smell of the harness and the easy going of the carts allow just about everyone the ability to stay active with horses without the rigors of riding.

Calvin is a past driving champion (his prior owners showed him in California) who knows and absolutely loves his job. He has been described as an "accomplished driving machine" due to his steady work in harness. He responds to voice commands and a light touch on the lines. He does better on the obstacle course than his current owners and is traffic safe.

Lessons are available and can include how to harness, parts of the cart and carriage, basic driving, driving an obstacle course, as well as driving on the open road.
