SPOILERS: Before Buffy vs Dracula. Did you pay attention all the time? If you did, you'll recognise some canon moments. SYNOPSIS: When something horrific happens to Buffy, only one person can reach her. AUTHOR'S NOTES: Primeval never happened. Angel and Riley had their fight in TYF but Buffy never told Riley Forrest was dead.. because he wasn't. Just imagine that Buffy and Forrest never found A.D.A.M. and Riley left Buffy's room after their *gag* empty proclamations of love. But not to go to Big Freaky Tony Robbins Frankstein. However, A.D.A.M. is dead, Initiative still here. Just go with it. Sorry Forrest fans - I've never liked the guy but I know that's no excuse for what happens but it made most sense. Forrest hates Buffy. And vice versa. Dawn here. Loadsa B/A interludes in episodes like Hallowe'en, Helpless, Graduation Day II, The Yoko Factor, Amends. And I've got you under my skin from AtS quoted. INSPIRATION NOTES: Wow, how do you get inspired for such a twisted and macabre theme? Personally, I think rape is the worst crime - Along with murder - that can be commited. It's abouut power and hate more than sex. Mostly, I was inspired by the performance of some actresses in their portayal of rape situations on TV dramas or film. I read an essay at CABS (Citizens Against Bad Slash) about plethora of angst/rape fiction and the what drives us to write this. There's also fics out there that have one person raping another and then five minutes later, there's happy comfort sex with the rapist who they forgive. That's twisted. I think it's a way of confronting our deepest fears through our favourite characters. It's a thing that you'd have to ask a Psyche professor about as I'm not a professional by any length. I experimented with narritive for this (3rd person though) so I'm not sure how it all worked out. I really don't want you to read this if you're at all uncomfortable with the theme of rape. FEEDBACK: Please do. I really wanna know what y'all thought of this. Alot of time and sweat went into this and it's not a generally happy fic. Critique not flames. However if you are a Forrest fan and do flame (that's a comment made against me rather than my writing - Critique is saying something bad about my writing - which I want if you feel that this is total crappity crap) I'll be forced to issue the CABS standard response to flaming - "F*** off". Don't say I didn't warn you. RELATIONSHIP: Pro B/A but has elements of B/R RATING: R for the adult theme CONTENT: Rape - however, not in graphic detail - Refeerences to, violence, suicide, mild swearing (bitch, whore etc.) and one occurence of strong. I guess this falls into H/C category but I hope it's a little deeper than that.
