Stereotypes
You certainly have lived long enough life (from 18 to 90 years) and you suppose that the experience you gained
being single or the experience from the last marriage will be very much to the point for deciding your present problems.
I'll give you an example from my life. I lived in a family, where we were used to keep our flat in order.
I mean order was a natural state of our flat and we (my mother, my brother and I) maintained it by daily cleaning up and putting things in order.
But Katya lived in the family where they paid more attention to moral, spiritual and mental order than to living conditions.
So it seemed really natural for me to expect from Kate the same order in our flat as my mother provided to us before.
And for some time I expected it and couldn't possibly understand her unwillingness to act as I wanted, but I didn't
take into account her very peculiarities. And they differ from my mother's ones. The similar situation is described
in "Five Love Languages" in details.
