| This is the website of Partington Pathetic Originally Underpants Tuesday a bunch of mates most originally from Partington who have been playing football together over the last 25 years and at last have decided to pit their wits against allcomers as on the 15th April 2003 they joined the JJB Superdome Tuesday night 6 a side 4th Division. Well we successfully avoided relegation in our debut season finishing 3rd from bottom, things surely must go better for the Pathetic boys in season 2! No they didn't we were relegated and the team has now disbanded for the reasons under and we're looking to apply again under the new name of THE PHOENIX KNIGHTS if we can just find a couple more players |

| It's been a sorry start to season 2. With the competition now changed to 5 a side you would have thought that Pathetic's problem of finding 6 fit players last season would have eased this term, this is not the case. The squad has been ravaged by injury and 'getting old' meaning that for the first 3 games of season 2 they have only been able to field 5 players and at least 1 or 2 of those have not been 100% fit.This has seen them slide to 3 disastrous defeats 14-1, 8-2 and 8-4. Tonights 4th game looks set for the same pattern with only 5 players available, 3 of which Trevor Pete and Chris all suffering badly from flu. There is no doubting that there is a lot of class in the squad but untill 1 or 2 of the long term absentees Paul M, Wayne, Stewart, Steve and Chris S return then it looks like certain relegation into the depths of the 5th Division and the outside courts (not likely) are there any women here! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
