| After fleeing east away from very persistant KA hunters the Paranoids settle briefly to rush out a couple of new breeders. At this time a surprising offer comes in from one of the KA clans... the KA alliance is breaking up and some of the now ex-KA are forming a new alliance named Hydra, and would I consider joining this alliance. To say the least I was surprised and flattered, and after a little negotiation decided to accept and become one of the seven heads of Hydra! ( now six as clan Urchins retired from the game soon after Hydra's formation ) Here we see the Paranoid Hall settling to rebuild after it's recent migrations |

This little incident of Kindred moving a few warriors towards Hydra breeding grounds sparked the current war vs The Immortals. Several of the Hydra clans had been skirmishing with him before this so he did have some provocation I guess :) |
| Turn 252. The Kindred forces are dealt with quickly and Hydra begins discussing declaring war on the Immortals. | ![]() |
| Turn 257. I think this was the turn the official declaration of War vs the Immortals appeared on War Cry. | ![]() |

Turn 265. Ortis and FIST are both good defensive tacticians, after being under assault from one group or another almost continually since the game began they've become quite proficient at it. Looking ahead I can see that Terrier and I will be facing a series of small defended mountaintops, that although not enough to stop our forces individually will certainly slow us down, and collectively might weaken our line enough to hold it at the next large mountain seen at the eastern edge. |

Hall movement as of Turn 265. Purple Arrow indicates fleeing from KA, Yellow line represents movement of hall after accepting membership in Hydra Take a look at some of that terrain in the extreme SE corner youngsters, once a few halls occupy it ( Genesis will probably reach it in force first ) don't try assaulting that before breakfast :) |
