Dust: A Tale of the Wired West by Cyberflix was my first adventure games back in 1995. This game has very nice graphics and point and click interface. Dust is a western adventure game with a story that spans over five days. The year is 1882 and you are in Diamond Back New Mexico broke at night at the main entrance of town. First you will need some cash and a place to sleep for the night to meet your first objective and progressive to the next day. The next day you will need a new pair of boots, ammo, and a gun while learning about Diamond Backs history and interacting with the characters for information in helping you meet your objectives. That is not an easy task as their are 35 talking characters that you will meet in the quest for information and objects.

As the story unwinds you will find yourself as sheriff of the town, deal with bounty hunters, and eventually deal with the kid and his associates. There is more to the story, you also collect objects that will be helpful in finishing the game as the main part of the game centers around lost Spanish silver. You will need to find five objects to complete your quest to enter the lost mine get through the many tests and puzzles awaiting you. For your effort if you so succeed the Spanish silver will be all yours.

This game is one you will want to put away for a few months and then play again. There are several different ways to play to reach the games final conclusion.

Star Trek Voyager Elite Force by Activision is a 2000 game and also offered an expansion pack Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Expansion pack in 2001. This game is actually two games in one, the first game is a role playing saga game and the second game is a action shooter up game.

The role playing game you are Munroe and part of the Hazard team and elite group of members trained for hazardous missions. As each chapter unfold you have certain missions to deal with, and the outcome of these missions are also the outcome on whether you are going to continue on to the next chapter or redo the chapter over.

You can set your difficulty level and as you progress the missions get tougher along the way. You sometimes work with team members and sometimes you work solo and as you are sent on different mission it is best to explore the areas well as sometimes you can find a special weapon, or control panels to give you access to other areas, energy crystals, or even health and energy points.

Once you play the game through, you can play at a harder setting, or try different things and see if the outcome comes up the same or different. The expansion pack allows you to explore Voyager and pick up action figures, plus play a few little games.

The second game which is the action shooter game where you shoot the enemy before  he shoot you offers several difficulty setting and choices of location. You run around collecting things such a health sprays, armor, ammo, and try to eliminate your enemies. The idea is to shoot as many enemies as possible and have the highest enemies count when the games ends. Mods can also be used on this game to expand the shooter game and create new game play, along with adding weapons, and even changing the looks of your character.

Star Trek Elite Force II by Activision is a 2003 sequel to Star Trek Voyager Elite Force.  Star Trek Elite Force 2 is a sequel to Star Trek Voyager Elite Force and the main differences besides story line is you are no longer on board Voyager and eventually end up on the Enterprise. Gone is the choice of playing either Alexandra or Alex Munro, you are stuck playing the male only character. Gone are all but a couple of Voyagers characters and of course no exploring the ship like you had the option in the original with the expansion pack installed.

Game play consists of following along a story and meeting your objectives to continue on and collecting star ships to give you bonus levels to play. The games opens up on a Borg cube where you must free Voyager and once this brief mission is over you are whisked off  to Starfleet Academy instead of going back to Voyager.

The graphics, musical score, and sound effects provided a rich game environment and the beginning tutorial was more interesting then the original and moved in a more interesting way.

Titanic: Adventure Out of Time by Cyberflix is my second game from this company. I just recently obtained this game from a close out bin but this game was released in 1996. Instead of the Wild West this time you are headed for a voyage on the titanic in a race to alter history before the doomed ships runs out of time. You are a British secret agent on a vital mission on the world's most luxurious ocean vessel the Titanic. You have 25 characters to interact with while search for clues and objects to assist you in solving challenging puzzles. On April 14, 1912 it is up to you to change the course of history your survival depends on it.

This game offers 3D view, 3 stereo effects, 360-degree movement, and a guide tour option for exploring the ship using interactive tour guides. This game is one you will want to put away for a few months and then play again. There are several different ways to play to reach the games final conclusion.
