June 5, 2003 PASS THE WORD!!! WE HAVE A LEGAL RIGHT TO ORGANIZE!! ALL MEETING WILL BE POSTED ON THIS WEB SITE STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES!!!
ATTENTION!! It has come to our attention that SIA management is working hard to stop our efforts to organize. Rumor from some very reliable sources is that the group leaders who are being placed on the floor on line side jobs are there to convince the associates not to attend meetings and that we do not need a LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT!! They are there to be your friend and to prevent you from having a VOICE and sharing in the prosperity of SIA. Tell them that you have the right to: JUST SAY YES!!! It is also rumored that management is spreading times and dates of false meetings. They are doing this to discourage associates from attending meetings and to discredit the efforts of fellow associates to ORGANIZE and BARGAIN for a LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT. If you hear of a meeting check the web site to see if it is on here. If it is not on this page then there is no meeting. SIA management has been holding union awareness meeting for group leaders and other members of management. Those attending the meetings have been told that they are the front line and it is their responsibility to solve associates problems. They have been told that if they are the associates friends then the associates will not be as likely to attend meeting.
