About
the apartment on Fővám square
It
is a small square, at the beginig of the
famous Vaci Street. River Danube and the Szabadság
bridge are no more than 50 meters, not far from
the Gellert Bath, near
the national museum. Famoous old city market
is just on front off the building. The buiding
is a monument built at the end of 19th century.
In this building is borned famous hungarian
composer Bartok Béla.
Tram 2 takes you along the Danube. Vaci
Street is for pedestrians only, but in front
of the building is parking space. You will find
a lot of cafes and restaurants in this area.
You can walk to several gay bars and clubs.

is Fővám tér 4.
Its gay operated
and we take the time to answer all your general
and gay related questions about Budapest and
gay life into the town. Open all year, check-in
on agreement. We are always reachable by mobile
phone for assistance.
The apartment is about 35 sqm on the 3rd floor,
with small kitchen. Hall and bathroom are shared
with other apartment. We have there 2
apartments, but 1 bathroom for 2 apartments.
Towels, blankets and sheets etc. are there.
At check-in you can get info where to buy tickets
for public transport, stamps and phone cards.
Intercom system is at front door. Free printed
gay map, map of town and tourist brochures we
are giving you after your arrival.
The apartment is in brick, renovated building,
has elevator. View is on the Old city market,
Green bridge of freedom and panoramic view on
the Danube, park, other side of city, Buda side
and beginning of Váci street. Kitchen is provided
with fridge, stove, coffee maker, self catering.
Bathroom has bathing tub with shower, sink and
washing machine.

is very easy accessible.

From the Magnum sauna apartment is 2 stations
if you using trolleybus 83. Bar Action is approximately
300 m, also Capella disco about 300 m distance
and gay café Milord is on 50 m distance.
Airport
For
transfer from the airport we recommend the Minibus.
Minibus will take you for 2100 Forint per person
(approximately EUR 9) from the airport to every
address in the center of Budapest. It takes
about 35 minutes, as the airport is in the outskirts.
You'll find the Minibus desk after you've passed
the custom. Seat reservation is not necessary
before arrival at the airport. If you already
know when you'll need to go back to the airport
you may purchase a Minibus return ticket for
3600 Forint.
Train
Stations
There
are 3 different train stations in Budapest:
Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South).
If you arrive at Nyugati station take the blue
metro to to the Kálvin tér station, from there
by foot or 1 stop with tram 47 or 49.
If you arrive at Keleti station take the red
metro line until the Deák square station, from
there blue metro to the Kálvin tér station,
and then by foot or 1 stop with tram 47 or 49.
If you arrive at Deli station take the red metro
line until the Deák square station, from there
blue metro to the Kálvin tér station, and then
by foot or 1 stop with tram 47 or 49.
Parking
Usually
is not the problem to find free parking space
in front off the building, also is there pay
parking. The fee is per 24 hours 1000 HUF (approximately
4 euro), or 1 week 4500 HUF (approximately 18
euro).
Change
Rates & Payment
You
need to make reservations in advance. Check-in
only on agreement. No credit cards. If possible
please prepare payment in EUR. Hungarian Forint
HUF is accepted too. We use the change rates
that are published on the day of your arrival
at the website http://www.xe.com/ucc/.
There is a lot of ATM where you can get Hungarian
Forint using major cards like Visa, MasterCard,
and Maestro etc.
