Rose and Lissa
Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi or a mortal vampire with spirit magic. Her de-facto guardian, best friend and sister is a dhampir named Rose Hathaway. Dhampirs are a mix of human and vampire and commissioned as guardians to protect the elite Moroi from less mortal vampires like Strigoi. Though she has yet to graduate as a guardian she has taken a role as Lissa's guardian for their time away from Vampire Academy. Going back things become even more complicated a life on the run has left them estranged from many of their peers, friends and families. But, going back leads to romance, belonging and making a true difference in their community.
