| The meeting of companions | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The companions should be ones versed in instruction. Knowledge of the lore of the realms, the arts, court etiquette these should be but a few of the gifts brought to the young Lord Mors. Who better to teach such things than the Archmage Gwyea-Laamyn, and his apprentice-daughter Llyorealin. The council champion, Fynnor-A', would go as the instructor in the arts of battle. The ways of the bow, spear, and sword shall be but a beginning. For tactics, stratigies, and the more advanced lessons of war will also be objects of Fynnor-A's teachings. Togeather, the three made their way to Palidia. Gwyea-Laamyn lead the way to an old friend first, Maple-root, the treeman. After explaining the circumstance of their presence, Maple-root sent word ahead of the companions, through the faye. Prepare Palidia for the approaching audience with Gwyea_Laamyn and his party. Upon word of the news, Lord Mors knew that the half-a-dozen short decades that he had spent here, in the glade of his innocence, was to be over. He had been taught of his heratige, the dryads teased him often of it. But he had always thought that he would search out his destiny. Not have it find him so soon. The 'Age of Knowledge' was upon him. |
