Palarset's It's Showtime Amara

(1990 - 2003)

~ Amara ~

Do you think this is a dog chair?
It is part of Larry's and my first furniture in 1970!

Pulled from the ring just before finishing, Amara was our "keeper of the house" when we went out and she kept all of the dogs in line. She would have made a fabulous Mom, she was so gentle and loving to puppies and kittens. When she was 3, her mother Phaedra had a litter and Amara wanted so desparately to get in with the puppies. She was spayed but screamed whenever she saw the pups. We had to give her a toy to carry. She was beyond thrilled when Phaedra allowed her to help care for the pups. She actually bled allowing the pups to try nursing on her but it was easier than keeping her away from them. Very birdy but she was always too busy hunting for herself, not as a team. She was our bed snuggler and best hugger. I could see Papa Ralphie in her in so very many ways. Amara, our love! May the shamrocks fall softly.
