Moods of Nature

Fiery skies sparking off the wildest imaginations,
Nature, freaks out, splashing colours, vibrant and psychedelic,
Onto the stretched canvas of the horizon.
Night in deathly demeanor creeps up, stealthily,
Like a hungry, black panther, out for its prey,
Dangerously silent and forever formidable,
Only to be deceived by
Day wrapping the night in a white funeral shroud.

The Sky

The boundless dark ceiling of mystery,
enshrouding the earth and her celestial sisters,
With stars glistening like a sprinkle of silver dust on black satin,
beckoning to you, merging with you, transforming you,
to another dimension of oneness with the universe.

Nature's Lesson? A true Revelation

The hazy night wraps
it's soft feathers
around me

The trees sway to
the silent music
in the air

The water wears
it's gown of black satin
with moonlight lace

...And in that one moment,
Beauty drew open the blinds
to my mind

I let my clouded thoughts free---
Fly, fly to the skies---
my Shackled existence,
this Piteous vacuity, gone forever.

And for that one moment…
Nothing else mattered.
