May 29, 2009 - SCOUT NIGHT AT THE BIRDCAGE - Games Begin at 7:05 PM - If you plan to attend this event, please have the number of people that are going and we will need the money the day of the March 29 pack meeting. We are signing up as a group so that we have a better chance of getting seating all in the same area. Please see the flyer for details.
Akela Camps
The registration fee is $45 per participant. The registration fee includes all camping fees, insurance, program supplies, food for all Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast, a water bottle, patch, and a quality staff. A trading post will be open for the purchase of souvenirs and snacks. T-shirts are available for $10 and must be ordered and paid for with registration. Any extra T-shirts will be sold first come first serve at the Trading Post. See the Leaders' Guide Book for detailed information. Register by May 1st and receive the discounted registration fee of $35 per participant.

Day Camps
"The CAMP that comes to the boy," day camp is an organized program for Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts under certified leadership at an approved site, usually during daylight or early evening hours. Den members are supervised by parents, den or pack leaders while they are in attendance at day camp. The staff of the day camp has been trained by the council�s National Camping School certified camp director and is responsible for providing a quality program for Scouts as well as their leaders and parents who attend day camp.
By participating in the council sponsored day camp programs, you are providing your Cub Scouts with a year round program and the opportunity to experience new and exciting activities while at camp. You can also help your pack qualify for the National Summertime Pack Award and the National Quality Unit Award by participating in outdoor activities conducted and/or approved by the Sioux Council. Remember that your Scouts want to participate in outdoor activities. You just need to make the programs available to them.
Day Camp Youth Fee is $40. Register by May 1st and receive the discount price of $30.

Webelos Explorer Camps
Webelos Camp is an exciting adventure for Webelos Scouts! A fun filled event with just the right mixture of challenge, Webelos camp is for boys graduating third or fourth grade this year. The 4 days and 3 nights spent at Webelos Camp will be the best days of your summer and it will give you a peek at what is just over the hill.
The activities are planned specifically for Webelos and will greatly aid the Webelos Leader in helping energetic Scouts try new skills in the out-of-doors. Webelos Camp gives Scouts the chance to earn up to 5 activity pins and have a great time doing it. It's also camping out, in a safe and pleasurable environment to ensure that our Webelos have a fine camping experience. In the great outdoors, Webelos and leaders will gain experience, knowledge, and self-reliance with the help of a trained camp program staff.
Camp costs just $90 for youth and $45 for adults. Register by May 1st and receive the discounted fee of $80 for youth and $40 for adults.
