Remediation
After testing, if mold is discovered, removal should be done immediately. Due to the hazardous nature of mold, removal should be done by a certified mold contractor only. We can remove, dispose of and help prevent future mold problems.
Step 1. A barrier is established to confine the mold and keep it from spreading during the removal. During the remediation the number of mold spores in the air can increase by 1000 times. If not contained properly by a certified contractor, this may elevate the current mold problem already present in your home or business.
Step 2. One of our trained specialist will treat the affected area with a highly effective fungicide.
Step 3. All infected sheet rock, carpet, etc. is removed and disposed of properly. This is very important not to disturb the mold spores and cause them to become airborne.
Step 4. Contaminated 2x4's, wood floors, etc. are cleaned using wire brushes and electric sanders.
Step 5. A second layer of fungicide is applied.
Step 6. An antimicrobial coating is used to help prohibit future mold growth.
