WE LOVE YOU ALL HAVE FUN
SCREEN SAVERS: Almost all of us at one time or another decide to use screen savers. But, do you know why one should? Your screen saver prevents your screen from pixual burns (spotting ) if the screen does not change or move. Thus, many of us have screen savers set on a timer which has a good and a bad advantage. Good is that it saves our moniters screen from spotting: BAD in that a screen saver activated by timer control can disrupt and prevent a clean defragmentation process. What can we do? The answer is simple: Put your screen saver to "none" prior to defragmentation process. Because if you have your computer set for auto maintenance and your screen saver is set to auto come on by timer..Then your probably not getting a defragmentation completed with the auto maintenance features doing it for you: The answer again is simple: Learn to maintain your computer's maintenance by hand. Shut down the auto maintenance features in your start up listing: Then hand maintain so you can also click screensaver to "none" and visually know your getting a full defragmentation process. WHY? Simply because "VISUAL INDICATERS" ( which means seeing with your own eyes ) are the best indicaters you can use to understand your computer. For example..during defragmentation click view and watch your computer..WHY? Because if you see it start and restart with an indication that says; "Drive contents have changed"; and this occurs more than twice during the process: YOU MAY NEED TO DO A CLEAN BOOT PROCEDURE: If you do get indications about this..PLEASE GO TO MICROSOFT WINDOWS and read about the PROPER CLEAN BOOT PROCEDURE FOR YOUR EXACT WINDOW SYSTEM: Learn from Microsoft why seeing the visual indicater suggests the need for a clean boot procedure for your system. My greatest goal is to see you desiring expert information and then making good decisions about your system and gleaning in the process the knowledge and understanding that comes with learning YOU CAN DO IT!

EXPLORING YOUR COMPUTER CAN BE FUN TO DO
Truly, hand exploring your computers capabilities is rewarding, exciting, fun and a learning tool. By discovering that YOU CAN change and/or control your computing world. YOU CAN MAKE IT YOUR WAY! How do you do this? Is it safe? Exploration-with care and common sense is safe. Whenever or whatever YOU DECIDE to explore or to create to YOUR taste of use is to simply follow the basic rules of thumb: Use paper and pen. Write what is checked before unchecking or changing. Print out if you can first. There by having a map to follow if the changes you try are not what you find you desire. THEN YOU CAN SAFELY CHANGE THEM BACK: Try only one single change at a time...See what it does and then decide if you do not want it or decide to keep it: FOR EXAMPLE: Have you ever "right clicked" your start icon in your task bar? Then clicked properties and then clicked advanced? WOW! Lots of choices appear..lots of possible changes..all by checking or unchecking a box: Now you can customise your very own computer..ONE CHANGE AT A TIME..See what it does! And, then choose to keep it or return it back again. The choice is yours-YOU HAVE THE CHOICE! The same "basic" exploration idea can be applied to exploring and changing all user features in any program and/or application...such as InternetExplorer or Netscape...or Outlook and Yahoo Messenger....even Home Web Pages and E-Mail options..IN ALL USE THE SAME BASIC REASONING...have fun and YOU CAN DO IT! LAST BASIC RULE OF EXPLORATION: never ever delete...UNLESS YOU KNOW ABSOLUTELY WHAT AND WHY YOU ARE DECIDING TO DELETE ANY ITEM FROM YOUR COMPUTERS SYSTEM. When in doubt..always use the LAST BASIC RULE>always! WHEN IN DOUBT GO ASK AN EXPERT!
