| from the sky falling great tragedy came calling shattered dreams and wicked schemes crushed the hearts of the innocent evil intent was unleashed terror screamed from the morning sky the horror of a madman was delivered from afar thunderous crashing walls the clear and clarion calls heroic humanity arrived in a New York minute a fearless fortress's fire our leader's deep desire a capitol in great dismay a tragic mounful day woeful wailing reigned fearful fretting finally waned from the desires of the insane and the towers had tumbled to the ground from fear to anger to resolved careful courage the wounds of America have been revealed and healed Still above the plumes of sadness beyond the reach of madmen waves in triumphant glory the fabric of freedom and each solitary soul prayed softly in the night for the brave bastions of battle to extinguish the darkness with the righteousness of light......................... |
