Original Storyline:
John Crighton with the help of IASA (read NASA without copyright) launches his new design of ship, the Farscape I to test his theory of slingshotting around Earth's atmosphere to achieve faster interstellar speeds. He succeeds beyond his wildest dreams when a wormhole opens and he is sucked in. When he emerges he is nowhere near Earth and probably in a different galaxy entirely. He ends up throwing his lot in with some escaped prisioners on a living ship called Moya and on the run from the Peacekeepers (the bad guys). So now he's surrounded by aliens with nothing familiar around him and everyone's trying to get home for various reasons....

Latest Farscape News:
Ben Browder (Crichton) and Claudia Black (Aeryn) will be in Stargate season 9. Claudia will be renewing her role played in season 8 for several episodes and will work closely with SG1, who will have a new member - Ben! Apparently his character led the raid in Antarctica and now he's on SG1, so Claudia and Ben will be working together again! Not to be missed.

Early September 2002 the powers-that-be announced the cancellation of Farscape. After they finished season 4 Farscape ended despite huge fan support. They ended up making a telemovie to finish off the series (name and details later).

Well I'm really sorry but Geocities has been on my case twice now about the amount of data transfer going on with this website. I know that means some of you are downloading everything you can, but it gets me in trouble. As a result I am reluctantly stopping the sounds section as it has the biggest files. But I'm leaving the link there with the list of files. If any of you really need a file email me and I'll see if I can find it for you.

On the plus side there's additions in the Desktop section (download from my Desktop Decorations website)

Little Bit of Trivia 'Bout Farscape:
According to Virginia Hey (Zhaan) when she 'chants' she's using some strange assortment of words from non-English languages. One of the chants actually means "We will not pick bananas until Thursday"!

----------- Also in an early Season 1 episode there is a bad guy called Namtar who starts changing Aeryn into a Pilot genetically. Namtar was originally a labrat that was genetically changed. Turn Namtar's name around and backwards it spells Ratman!
