Season 1 (1998-1999)

1.1 Premiere
John Crichton is in IASA (a variation on NASA I dare say). He and a friend called DK created a spacecraft - called Farscape I - based on their theory that slingshotting off the Earth's gravity can be used to increase a craft's speed. During his flight he collides with some sort of electromagnetic wave which creates a wormhole, and he and his ship are catapulted far away from Earth and into a fight with some escaped prisoners who are breaking out of their cells on a prison ship. He flees with them as he accidentally was involved with  the death of the brother of the head Peacekeeper as soon as he arrived. Now he has to find a way home and survive with these misfits.
