| BEAR HUNTER??? The name Bear Hunter came about when I mentioned to my 15 y.o. daughter, that I was going to buy a Four Wheel Drive. She would permit this, "as long as it not one of those BIG ones. Like you see in the Movies, the ones they use for Bear hunting" Can you hear that DELIVERENCE music? But much to her disappointment, Yes its big and yes its capable of Bear hunting or anything else for that matter. |

| MINOR FIXES AFTER PURCHASE ELECTRICAL; Replaced fuse for Interior lights, Air Con. Upgraded battery, fixed wire to engine bay light. MOTOR; Oil leaks, Sump and rocker covers . Renewed plugs and leads. Flushed radiator. Soldered leaky radiator tank. TRANSFER CASE; Replaced seal front drive shaft. |

| FUTURE PLANS For the Bear Hunter, a body lift 2" maybe 3"'s just for looks(haha) then on board air supply(DONE), and a slow but gentle restore. For the Site, WE NEED MORE BEARS, so if you know where they are, let us know and a HUNTIN' WE'LL GO. |

| WELCOME, This page is mainly about a 1982 JEEP CHEROKEE , Sportsman II. Purchased on the 13 April 2000. It had travelled 195,000km , and is vertually as it rolled off the show room floor, except for a LPG conversion and a Bull Bar have been fitted. It will mainly do as some bears do, go Fishing, wander about in the woods and hibernate during winter. WHAT A LIFE !!! |
