These are the endeavors designed by the Ozamiz City Jail under the leadership of City Jail Warden Reyes to foster friendship, camaraderie and unity with each other as they live together as brothers and sisters in this form of a community. Through this, it develops self-esteem, sense of belongingness and faith with each other while on the process, it diverts the attention of inmates from bad practices, negative vices and unpleasant outlook in life, treating each other as equal with dignity, rights and respect to enjoy what the people outside the jail experience.

             OCRC offered wide variety of sports and recreational activities like cable television viewing, reading, singing, indoor games like chess, dama and dart, personnel frequently conducted with maximum security sunning two (2) to three (3) times per week aside from daily scrubbing of the floor as a sort of exercise and outdoor games like volleyball, basketball, table tennis and badminton. Aside from the enjoyment that OCRC offers them, it aims also to elevate their psycho-social awareness as human beings and their capability to relate their experiences and feelings through different games, group dynamics and social arts hold for this purpose.
