| Quidditch Cup Kidnapping!
Definitely NOT by a Slytherin Penshire has won the Quidditch Cup for this year, and the Crane house has surely been celebrating nonstop since their victory over Ravenclaw in their last match of the season. But at the end of term, when it came time for the creative house to be awarded the Cup, the staff was at a loss: the Quidditch Cup had disappeared! PAD and the rest of the Hogwarts staff (minus Professor Ripley, who could be found sobbing in her office over the fate of her Shirelings' Cup) searched the castle from the Astronomy Tower to the Dungeons, for the Quidditch Cup wasn't the only thing missing. Professor Snape had disappeared as well. No one, not even his own Slytherins, knew where he'd gone. They also claimed that they had nothing to do with the kidnapped Quidditch Cup. But the rest of the school knew better, of course. The Slytherins had been in possession of the Cup last year, and Professor Snape had surely been the last one to see the Cup in a gilded case in his private rooms, where it was rumored that he liked to sleep with the precious golden wonder as if it were a cuddly teddy bear. The common consensus was that Professor Snape had taken off with the Quidditch Cup as soon as Penshire's Seeker had caught the Snitch in the Raven-Crane game, knowing that it was the only way he would be able to keep his beloved all to himself. None of this can be proven, however. After all, you can never trust a Slytherin to tell the truth, especially when it comes to shiny gold things. So the mystery of the kidnapped Quidditch Cup may never be solved as long as the Slytherins remain as tight-lipped as they have always been. And it seems that Penshire will just have to go without their hard-earned Cup this year, a devastating loss to a team that had overcome such a prominent losing streak. Perhaps, if the Silver Serpents should regain the title of Quidditch Champions in this coming year, the Quidditch Cup will magically reappear in Professor Snape's trophy case, along with the great Potions Master himself. |

| Watch Out for the Silver Serpents!
By Cap'n Kiley The Slytherin Quidditch team had a rough time last year: disappearing team members, switching captains, trying to remember to play by the rules. But despite the chaos, we walked away undefeated but for one match at the beginning of the year, and proved that when it comes right down to it, Slytherins can pull through anything by sheer determination. There's no guarantee that this year will be any less chaotic than the last (because what's a year at Hogwarts without some havoc-wreaking?), but one thing IS certain: the Silver Serpents are back and better than ever. Forget badgers, lions, cranes, and eagles...the snakes are ready to slither right back to the top! |
| For the Better of the Chaos Claws
By Summer I remember it was just a year ago when I was given the role of Quidditch co-captain. Then a few months later, I was given the chance to take up on captaincy. I took on this position with honour and pride. Never had I thought that after being at Hogwarts for one year, I was to be the Chaos Claws' new captain. Of course, I would be nothing without Cho to guide me, and Prof. Lily to talk to. Most of all, I would like to thank my trusty co-captain and brilliant beater, Raelyn. She has always been there to help me with problems, Quidditch-related or not. I am sure she will do just as well next season. Yes, I love Quidditch, but being the captain is a totally different thing. You have to plan plays and tactics, be on alert and watch each and every player for their strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, you have to make decisions that are the best for the team, no matter how hard it is to make. And for the better of the Chaos Claws, I, Summer Joan Levy, am stepping down from Quidditch captaincy of the team, and passing the title over to Myrrima Goldenleaf. She has done a wonderful job last season as co-captain, and has helped us out a great deal this season. With Myrrima and Raelyn leading the Claws in this upcoming season, I am sure the team will do a lot better. Best of luck, you two! |
| Interview with the new Chaos Claws Captain
By Summer As you probably know, the Chaos Claws have a new captain! Without further ado, here is an interview with the one and only, Myrrima Goldenleaf! Summer: Hello Myrr! How are you? Myrrima: Absolutely wonderful! Summer: How do you feel about taking on the role of the Chaos Claws' captain? Myrrima: Excited, actually. I'm glad that I've had a bit of experience, in a way, and I know that if I need help, I have Rae and many other people to help me. Summer: You have had previous experience as co-captain. How is being the captain different from being the co-captain? Myrrima: Being captain brings a little bit more....dependency maybe? I don't know how to put it...you are in charge of more, people depend on you more, and you are expected to do a bit more than as a co-captain, but it isn't really a whole lot different. Summer: What do you think of the Claws' co-captain, Raelyn? Myrrima: Oh my gosh, she is wonderful! =D She helps out wherever she can and is a really fun person, and I am proud to be working with her. Summer: Do you plan to continue playing on the team as keeper, or would you be playing another position? Myrrima: I plan to continue being keeper since that is what I am used to, but I think we'll just have to see what talent comes up this year before any final decisions are made. Summer: Last question. Now, I suppose a lot of the Ravens have been wondering about this. Tryouts are going to be held soon. Is there anything that you look for in a team player? Myrrima: Personally, I look for a person who is willing to try their hardest, is a fun person...someone that won't mind going to the practices or spending a bit of time helping another teammate. And, most of all, loves what they do! Summer: Thank you for your time, Myrr, and I wish you and Raelyn the best for the upcoming season! Fly High Breathe Deep! |

Ima Anonymous The GA was not founded on the night of June 5th, in a topic that many ladies have flocked to every night. This article does not report that a Slytherin has now achieved the status of heartthrob, and this article does not say that this heartthrob has made more than a few hearts flutter. Furthermore, I will not state that many signatures are now hosting cool banners for members of The GA's. The GA's do not currently plan on fighting crime at PAD's, and they do not wish to set up Huggabunch with any girl. Huggabunch as he is also not known, has not claimed that he finds all the attention aggravating. You will not read that should you wonder who this heartthrob is, you should not look at the party thread that is not on the BB. This message will self destruct in3...2...1... |
| Watch out for Undercover Agent Blaire!
By Mango Yes, its true. Slytherin has a secret weapon and undercover agent Miss Kiley Blaire. The girl has been watched at Madame Malkins Robe-shop, buying Hufflepuff robes. Of course, we Slytherins were at first confused about this, seeing as the girl has been made Quidditch Captain lately, however, after some researches, we found out about her mission and her true reason for this. The Slytherin student was out to prepare for her secret mission slipping into Hufflepuff. No one would have ever thought how far the girl would go to prepare herself for this, as she has even dyed her beloved purple hair orange. Ive found a quiet moment to ask her about the mission and if it has been successful, and what she had to tell me was most interesting. "Well, to be honest, I was surprised by how easy it was. Not only did I get in and out without notice, but I also learned quite a few...erm..."secrets" about Hufflepuff house..." Hufflepuff house has been invadedyou better watch out the next time, if a new student enters your CRit could be Agent Kiley Blaire on another mission. |
| Dispelling Rumors
By: Jennifer Kull (JUNK) I know there have been many rumors about me in the past few months, most concerning my snakes. Allow me to dispel all of your fears about my well-being AND my snakes' behavior. First, yes, their moods were pretty well described in the may issue, but one fact that is considerably important was forgotten. They do NOT attack unless I command it. So, have an issue with me? Watch out. If not? Well, then, you're fine and don't have to worry about it. :P Secondly, my snakes do NOT become ill! Hats are most unfashionable, and since I do NOT wear unfashionable clothing, I will NOT be seen wearing a hat, unless it is in muggle public. Now then, all of that is cleared up, please do not hesitate to crowd around me in the halls between classes and ask me endless questions. :D |
