An interview
By Ava Black

For this interview I sat down with Penshires very own Senior Prefect Samuel Craft. The third year opened up about his love of Pads.

When did you join Pads?
I joined PADs over four years ago and I must say these have been the most amazing four years of my life!
What has made you stick around all these years.
There is plenty of activities to participate in, various exciting classes, and more importantly all the heart warming people that make it nearly impossible to leave the site for good
Which house really suits Samuel the best?
In all honesty, I find it quite hard to pin point which house exactly he would fit well in. He has a little bit of Hufflepuff in him as well as some Ravenclaw too. But most important, he has more Penshire related qualities that makes him a true crane.
What is your favorite part about being prefect?
My favorite part is definitely the power. Yes people, I said the power. It just feels amazing to have fellow members look up at you for advice, help, questions, etc. It's definitely a feeling that is hard to explain too.
Which point earning things do you like the least?
Articles. Writing articles is something in which not everyone has a passion for. We are all different in our tastes, and article writing is just not up there for me.
Which was your favorite class this term?
Potions class is always a blast and the class has never changed in that. Professor Snape is a rather unique character as everyone knows and you just cannot get enough of his outstanding lessons.
Which did you dislike?
It's really hard to say. I myself have not had the chance to take all the classes yet, mainly because they change each year, but I know it will be a very hard decision to make once I do.
How does it feel to be part of the Winning Quidditch team this year?
It is truly amazing! This is my first year winning the Quidditch Cup and more important being undefeated. It is a wonderful feeling I enjoy sharing with my team mates and I hope we get the cup once again next year.

MoD never leaves
By Kimmie Brandon

It seems MoD cant rest in peace. At least not when it comes to Gryffindor and all the super-noisy and all-knowing girls in the Spam section. Ever since the release of the last issue of the OG, one topic took over the Spam: is MoD really gone? Rose Wick, Hilary Stevens, Gawyn Crossguard and some other members of the house cant seem to stop speculating about the shocking news about Linda Danes true identity. They plot 24/7, and a new Still Hunting MoD Club is in the making, in case we will see the resurrection of said reporter. Be on the lookout for more interesting news, and prepare yourself for the time when it says again: I am hunting MoD. Are you?
Kim Majors has invited me to go with her and her family to Bay Lake, Florida, near beautiful Orlando Florida. We will be going to Disney World, where we will ride the ride and see the sites, and hear the sounds of all the magical things that go along with Disney world.  We will see all the famous characters from the Walt Disney movies and animation. Wow, to see the Magic Kingdom, which was built in the middle of a swamp. The swamp blossomed in to the Magical world in 1971 when its gates opened for the first time. Disney world grew and grew, and is still growing everyday, it's part of history and Kim and I are going to join it this Summer in the month of July. I know I can't wait. We have been making plans for a month. We both love animals so, Animal Kingdom is a must.
Ministry survey: Sera
By Hagrid Black

Hagrid Black:
"Awhile back, there was an article by a ministry official, seems one of You-know-who's followers slipped into the ministry, past the security-wizard, without registering his wand, and back out later, without being noticed, how do you feel about this, is the ministry really doing all they say there doing with safety matters?"
Sera:
"Obviously not! I don't understand how a place as secure as the Ministry is SUPPOSED to be, could let that happen. Maybe they need to rethink their security."
Hagrid:
"There was also a similar time when they let You-Know-Who slip right past them himself, sort of makes you think that they dont care or there working with him. Do you have any theories on how they could have let this happen?"
Sera:
"Well, perhaps the Ministry is working with You-Know-Who, like you suggested, or perhaps, the Security-Wizard or a few inside people, are. It is really scary that they continue to allow this to happen...
Hagrid:
"So we probably need to get a new Security-Wizard?"
Sera:
Maybe. It sounds like, at least, that there needs to be an investigation into what is going on at the Ministry."
Hagrid:
"Maybe after they read this, they will launch one. however have to go, I have to interview more people on this subject, thanks for you're time. "

Ministry Survey: Maya

Hagrid Black:
Awhile back, there was an article by a ministry official, seems one of You know who's followers slipped into the ministry, past the security-wizard, without registering his wand, and back out later, without being noticed, how do you feel about this, is the ministry really doing all they say there doing with safety matters?"
Maya:
Well the first question that comes to my mind is that if he did all this without being noticed, how did someone know about it? But that's beside the point. Obviously the Ministry has a lot of security and procedures set up for their safety and ours. Unfortunately if those are known by someone they're going to find a way around them. I have faith that the Ministry is doing their best, they just need to take this matter and figure out what they need to do to be sure it doesn't happen again.

Hagrid:
''Okay, so we know the ministry needs to look into this, I am sure many would also like to know what happened that they know, so the ministry better get to reading and writing. Also, they know one of his followers broke out. They say his followers are running and trying to bring him back, they refuse to accept the fact that he is already back, do you believe them, or the dozen of "Liars" that witnessed him?"
Maya:
I don't think it's a matter or if he is back or not. I think the Ministry should take precautions like he is. Then if the followers are still "trying" to bring him back we are prepared if they succeed.
Hagrid:
They should, but they say the followers can try all they want, the ministry believes they destroyed all the Horcruxes, do you think this is true, or false?
Maya:
Well I don't know what Horcruxes are so I can't really say if I believe they've all been destroyed or not. But I believe the Ministry would have more information on that sort of thing so I'm going to put my faith in them until something proves them wrong.
