Dear Miss/Mr. Editor,
What on earth is all this about half-gorgons? I don�t get it. Why are half-gorgons so special? So they have snakes for hair and can turn people to stone. So what?
I think this paper should be more concerned with muggle politics. You know, things such as how Laura Bush coerced the Supreme Court Justices to order George to under-go cosmetic surgery so that his ears don�t rival an elephants, or how John Kerry ate so much Heinz Ketchup that he had to go to the hospital because he had tomatoes growing out his nose, or how noble, neutral Switzerland is being invaded by a whole army of Crazy Viking gnomes, etc.
I don�t understand why the paper is so concerned with the meanie hisshead. I think her world domination thing is a ploy, and that her real domination plan is to acquire all things Pirates of the Caribbean, and that muggle actor, Johnny Depp.

I am just so fond of all those little articles about Gawyn and Roxanne. I mean honestly, what could possibly be more interesting than that? I don�t even think that Kleenex�s new Put-a-Little-Boogie-in-it Dancing Tissues is more important.
Oh, and keep up the good work with the whole Slytherins taking over the world plots. I like having a heads up as to who I�m going to be a slave to and when my life as a free being is going to come to an end.

Dear Messed Up,
Well, you certainly sound uncertain about some things! I can't honestly say that if you don't know what you want to do with your life that you have a problem. Many times kids or teens (& even some adults) feel this way. I guess the only way to tell if you have a serious problem or not is to determine exactly what aspects of your life we're talking about here.
If it's a career choice you're refering to, join the club! Many people struggle with this & often times it's very difficult for them to make decisions about their careers. Sometimes they don't even know what they want to do with their lives when they get to college! Not everyone has a calling to be something in particular at a young age.
If it's any other kind of decision that you're talking about, please post back with more specific details & we'll try to work through it, ok?

What do you do if you feel like you dont belong in your house? Its not that your not suitable for the house, but rather you dont feel welcomed by your house mates? like they dont like you and that you stand alone?

If you're having feelings like you're not welcome in your house by your peers, talk to your HOH about the situation. Perhaps it may be that you are taking things they are saying to you the wrong way & often times getting an opinion by someone outside the situation (like your HOH) can help sort things out. If you don't feel you can talk to your HOH about the problem, send me a more detail letter explaining why you feel the way you do & who specifically you think it is that doesn't like you & I'll see what I can find out for you, ok?

This month, the Slytherin house hold wish to say a Happy Birthday to the Bulls and Geminis of the school. So who might you ask is celebrating a birthday in this month of flowers and the birth of new life? Well it seems that the school is home to two May Taurus�, and three Gemini babies. Just to refresh your memories Taurus falls on the dates of April 21st through the 21st day of May, where as Gemini falls on the 22nd day of May and goes through until June 20th. So a Happy birthday to not only the bulls and Twins
of May but to the bulls of April and the Twins of June.

The latest dance, sponsored by Slytherin House, has had many visitors from all over the world. After a long period of preparation and planning, the dance finally took place from the 6th to the 12th May. All snakes have come together to create a fun and exciting week with the theme �Hug Professor Snape�. There was a contest with the goal to guess Professor Snape�s doll, a picture to color, a list with Slytherins to hug and of course the dance itself.
Here the results from the hugging orders:
Most ordered Slytherin at this dance was of course Professor Snape with eight times. The Head of House is the favourite one wherever you look, so make sure to vote for him at the Hogwarts Choice Awards!
Next comes Linda Danes. Although she is no longer with us, she was ordered 5 times at this dance, which is the most a dead person has ever been ordered to my knowledge.
Tom Riddle and Jennifer Kull came out with 4 orders each, and as far as I know, Tom even asked a girl to order a hug from him. I would have guessed more people to order Tom; after all he has a fan club for himself.
Next comes our favourite purple-haired freak, Kiley Blaire. The most recently announced new Captain of the Silver Serpents has gained the Slytherin house 15 Galleons. Way to go, girlie!
Next come Seraphina Rosehill, Sapphire Blaire, Kato Nahilus and Lily Valeriana with two hugging orders each.
All in all we made 160 Galleons. Thanks for donating your money to Slytherin, who will put it in good use.
I can say that I had a lot of fun at this dance, so if you missed it out, you better be there next time when Slytherin invites to their next hosted event at the Great Hall.

Girls, I am a concerned member of the Hogwarts student body. I have noticed since my last article interviewing Tom Riddle that he now has what is called �Fan Girls�. Is this really what we want to be? I am writing this to be informative and to help keep you all from falling into his den! So what if he is charming and extremely good looking. There are other guys in the sea! So what if he is dangerous and rather good looking, I mean honestly are we a bunch swayed by good looks alone? I know you are saying to yourself he is more than good looks, that he is the total package! But surely there are other guys here at Hogwarts that come close! Even as I write this I found out he even has a STALKER!!!! The boy has to beat ya all away with a stick!!! Ok I am done trying to persuade you! Besides I have a uh meeting um by the lake�

Father�s Day is coming up, and for some of us it practically comes out of no where. So it�s understandable if you�re left on Father�s Day with a not-so-awesome gift for your dear father. Here are some great suggestions on what to get your father that are quick and easy! Not only will he appreciate it, but you won�t have to spend all that time looking for it either.
-A Hug! It may seem cheap, but it comes from the heart.
-A promise that you won�t wreck that brand new broom he bought you for Christmas
-Some type of baked good. Food is the best kind of gift.
-And if all else fails, a card never hurts.
