Caution: Muggles about to find out our secret
By Cornelia Potter

As we all know, our kind has kept our secret from Muggles for thousands of hundreds of years but as the years progress, it seems the Muggles have become more and more suspicious about us every year.

I interviewed some teachers and students at Hogwarts as what they thought it would be like if Muggles knew about our kind? Some of the students at Hogwarts think that it would be horrible if Muggles found out. "They have no reason to," another student said.

I myself don't think it would be that bad if they found out, but everyone has an opinion towards this subject. But be alert dear students and readers, Muggles are on the brink of discovering our secret and our kind!
Inter-House-PAT A New Trend?
By Kimmie Brandon

After Hufflepuff and Slytherin have started an IHPAT in April, all eyes were busy watching the counts of the earned points on the BB. But not long after its start, another inter house PAT has been announced, and this time between Penshire, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor.
Penshire and Gryffindor seem to be more into this PAT, as both houses have added a cheer to their signatures, to state their goal of winning this race.
Lets see how this works out. We can never tell what happens until both PATs are over and the winner of the House Cup is officially announced to the school, who has been the most successful in earning points during this term.
A Bit of Good News
By an adorable Gryffindor

It has been confirmed that the three actors who star in the Harry Potter movies, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, have agreed to star in the final two movies. Its great news to hear that the three will finish off the series, although a few people are worried that by the time the final two movies are filmed, the three actors will be too old for the rolls. Some object to the idea and arent worried at all. I think we all can be happy at least that they wont be replaced. If that were to happen, the series would be ruined. Thankfully, though, its not happening! Hooray!
Art Club and Writing Club Double Points Days
By Kimmie Brandon

This month has been a fertile month for the houses on their race for the House Cup.
On the 3rd this month, Professor Opal invited the whole school to participate on the first Art Club double points day ever since she has taken over the lead of the club. On this day, many students came and submitted all their artwork to gain double the points, and the Head of the club was proud to announce a sum of over 15,000 points, which she could award all the houses.
But the double points streak was continued by the announcement of Elora Dickinson, whose post stated that she wanted to do a double points weekend at the Poetry and Writing Club. Before the 18th May, several students headed down to the Annex building to sign up for the great event. All in all, both events boosted the hour glasses of all the houses, and the excitement rises while we wait and see which house will make it to the first place of the House Points rating and can finally take the House Cup to the cr.
Writing/Poetry Club
By Masi

There was a double points week end 5/18- 5/20. There was a huge turn out. There will be definite rise in House points after the contest. Penshire had an in house contest to see who would win; I think we all knew Ava would come in first. Sammy I believe was Second. I know I went hog wild and wrote some really horrible Poetry (not my strong point) and if there was a prize for awful poetry I would win hands down. Zoey and Adrianna let it all out and earned some serious points for the Badgers. I believe they blew us all away. It was really fun and I'm glad I was a part of it all. I think Ava would have sent me some of her famous "almost hate mail" if I hadn't been there. It was all I could do to stop at midnight, my last one got in right on time. Well anyway I hope everybody who participated had a good time. I hope we can do it again some time, but not too soon I think I'm all rhymed out.
PAD's Secret Identity
By Thomasina

The Ultimate NASCAR fan that she is, Professor Alba Dumbledore has to change her appearance so as not to draw the attention of the Muggles. I really don't think it worked, though. She didn't get found out, but with the crowd around, I highly doubt she got to watch much of the race. She was overloaded with peanuts and bananas. Isn't she just so cute?
Her sister, Professor Ripley, said, "I knew that would happen, if she went as a monkey, but she never listens to me." Madame Pomfrey said the bananas and peanuts wouldn't kill her, but her belly won't be the same for a while.
I hope her driver won after all that trouble. It would be a shame to have suffered the Muggles attention only to have her driver loose.
The Inner house Point-A-Thons
By Masi

There are two of these going on in the Penshire VS. Gryffindor VS. Ravenclaw one it looks like Penshire is in the lead at the moment, but all that could change in a moment with all the classes getting finished and the Double point in the Writing/Poetry club. Good luck to all the teams. The other is between Slytherin & Hufflepuff and it seems the Badgers are way ahead at the moment, but as with the other one, that could very well all change with all the things going on around school. I can't wait to see how they all turn out. It's getting to the end of term so this will be very interesting to watch. Again good luck to all!
End of Term
Masi

The end of Term is coming up really soon. June third at mid-night.
There's going to be a banquet will be held from June Twenty second until June Twenty fourth. There will be "House Cleaning" going on between the eighteenth and twenty second of June. Be sure to save anything you want to keep or ask a prefect or someone who knows how.
There will be a lot of announcements for the coming year. There will be many changes taking place, hopeful all for the better. There will be plenty of food and fun at the banquet, so be sure you aren't late. Here is to all the students and staff here at Hogwarts. Have a great summer everybody.
Graduates
By Ava Black

Graduation time is here and Hogwarts is no exception! This year there are two graduates! Taylor Wallace of Ravenclaw and Seraphina Rosehill of Slytherin. Each girl had to work through years of studies and homework to reach this point! It is no easy task! Penshire would like to congratulate both girls!!
Penshire challenges Ravenclaw and Gryffindor
By Ava Black

In the tradition of copy-cating, Penshire challenged Ravenclaw and Gryffindor to a PAT or POINT-A-THON. So far it is really too soon to tell who will win but Penshire is pulling the lead. The big question is will this determine the house cup. Look for a winner to be announced on the BB on June 3.
Slytherin and Hufflepuff PAT
By Ava Black

In an attempt to score the House cup, Slytherin and Hufflepuff challenged each other to a PAT. What is a PAT you ask, it is a point a thon. Basically both houses had to earn as many points as possible. So who won? Well it seems Hufflepuff won with a whooping 58,107 points! Slytherin managed 44,632. Great job to both teams and Congratulations Hufflepuff!
Writing Club double point day
By Ava Black

The Writing /Poetry club held its last double point days on May 18 - 20. Each house really posted away to earn the 50 points per writing. Hufflepuff really surprised us all by earning a whopping 33,700 points!!! No other house came close. It seems that Haikus were the biggest hit of the day, and diary entries were almost as popular. If you missed it you should stop by to see all the great writings!
The Points Race
By Kiley Blaire

We're coming down to the end of the school term, and every house is watching those hourglasses in the Great Hall with more attention than ever. Currently, Penshire is in the lead, with Slytherin in second and Hufflepuff in third. Gryffindor and Ravenclaw round out the standings, but don't count anyone out just yet. There will most surely be a rush to earn points in these last couple of weeks, and our beloved professors will be busier than ever trying to turn all of them in before the announcement of the House Cup at the End of Term Feast. Until then, don't be surprised to see students' nails bitten to the quick as they anticipate and predict who will ultimately take the Cup away from last year's winner, Slytherin, or if the Professor Snape will get to flaunt his precious Cup for another year.
House Wars!
By MoD

As the end of term nears many wars have broken out everywhere on the Bulletin Board. Most houses have monthly point earning and posting wars in the houses, where students earn points and post like crazy. Whether this works or not is another question, but there is always plenty of house spirit. Many pupils have gone further out, and challenged other houses on the board. All good spirit you may think, but many have a catch. One currently happening is a heated Point-A-Thon between Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Many eager students entered this, all saying that their house would win. However someone must lose and the stakes are high. Instead of winning a signature or a few Galleons, the students wagered their own head of house! Yes, the bet is that the winning houses HOH gets to dress up the other in any way they happen to see fit. All harmless fun you say? Yes, well now I mention the fact that this harmless fun seems to have built up many rivalries between the students, who are all desperate to win. So much for harmless fun. Another war still to take place is a summer long posting War between the old classics Slytherin and Gryffindor. High stakes to go too, with the losers having to walk about with Slytherin rules! or Gryffindor rules! in their signatures. Im sure neither house wants this, so theyll be working hard. However house unity supporters must hope that the rivalry between the houses doesnt last and increase.
Summer Approaching Fast
By Jennifer Kull (JUNK)

It seems as if all of the houses have become zapped with energy at the ending of the school year. Students are running around earning last minute points, scrambling to find out ALL the details of what it going on over the summer and, as always, making even more friends. Slytherin in particular seems at its best right now, with at least half a dozen new students, twice as many threads solely for wrapping things up for the summer, and about three dozen active RPGs still running strong.

The latest Point-A-Thon with Hufflepuff, while it was lost, gained an unsurpassable amount of points, putting them in second place for the House Cup. Boosted in morale with this latest upgrade in points, even more snakes are becoming involved with point making than ever. Who will win the House Cup this year, and how close will it be exactly? Only time will tell.
Hufflepuff Wins the PAT!
By: Zoey Taylor

As most of you know Hufflepuff and Slytherin have been engaged in a fierce battle for house points throughout the past month and finally Hufflepuff has come out on top! Im sure that Professor Lockhart is glad that he wont be receiving another makeover anytime real soon as weve already been busy making plans for dear ole Professor Snapes new look. I dont want to give away any juicy details yet but I know your going to look absolutely fabulous Sir!
