Dance We Dance has opened a new vista in Odissi..........The Mrudanga player Dhanurdhar Reddy's presentation, his untouched sophistication was a sharp contrast to the similar, though refined movements of the dancers. Biswas's choreography was fluent and musical, and it experimented interestingly with stage space. The Telegraph. Calcutta. 18.11.94 Through the mythological stories Murchhana reveals the evolution of Odissi Mrudanga.......We thank Sharmila for presenting an interesting, informative and tight production which retains the grammar of Odissi yet rises above the usual repetitive presentations. ANANDABAZAR PATRIKA. 23.3.96. |
